Life Sutras

  1. Meditate
  2. Think. Act.
  3. Eat. Sleep. Exercise.

Millions of words have been written. Yet human understanding has not evolved. If I were to restart, these are the things I would like to start with.

If you could only do a single thing - meditate.

If you could only do two things - think and act.

If you could only do three things - eat, sleep and exercise.

 

Meditate

People seek different things from meditation. At the very least, the most useful thing one learns is the difference between reaction and response. Without meditation, one might spend a lifetime without learning the difference.

 

Think. Act.

Think AND Act. BOTH are important. Think of it as a feedback loop. Without the loop, there will be no progress.

 

Eat. Sleep. Exercise.

Again, all THREE are important. Giving up any one to accommodate the other will cause a downfall. Eating and sleeping are biological necessities. But exercise is too - atrophy is a real thing. Only it's effect is not visible immediately.
